"The pump works great but if your RO system is a few years old, you might want to replace the automatic shutoff valve (ASO). The higher pressure killed our old ASO but after I installed a new one - it works great! Very quiet. Also - the kit did not come with valves and tubing as stated in the listing. Support is wonderful but can be a bit slow."
"Seems to be working, it reads 45-50 psi but I believe gauge pressure is not what I wish to know. I would like to know what the ROM filter is getting for pressure as my well pump pressure is only about 45 psi. I purchased the booster so that the ROM would have over 80 PSI as I understood that it would be more efficient that way. So it would be nice to be able to monitor the input pressure of the ROM. Other than that the system is working, but is it working as well as it can? Being an ME I think these thoughts and ask these questions."
"If I could give zero stars I would. When I hooked up the pump brand new out of the box and turned on the water it was pouring out the bottom of the pump. Not a small leak but essentially all the water going to the pump was pouring out the bottom."
"Very bad product! I received a used unit, I spoke with express water and there support is horible. When I called they said a used defective unit. They asked for me to send in pictures, so I did. Then a support specialist replied and said it was fine, even tho it did not come with tubing or the T adapter. I went and puchased these items. I installed it, only to find out it was defective. It would not turn off and caused my RO system to start leaking. Never again!"
"This pump works correctly right out of the box. I hooked it up as shown in my plumbing diagram. You have to ask for the plan. Would be nice to have a revised plumbing plan in the box."
"Can this be used for the whole house filtration system and not just the reverse osmosis?"
"The pump is probably good, but it's been such a headache getting it set up I'm rather frustrated. At first they sent me just the pump (no fittings) and I had to ask for instructions and fittings. 2 weeks later I got no instructions and the wrong fittings. They then sent me the right fittings but I still have no instructions. I think I've got it set up correctly (according to the picture on the web site) but I have no idea whether to turn the screw left or right to adjust the pressure, and I have no idea how to set the pressure correctly initially, and I have no idea if I'm accidentally setting the pressure so high I'm going to damage something. It's great that their customer service responds reasonably quickly, but would be better if they actually sent what I needed."
